2. What Data We Collect

This website is informational and does not require registration. We may process the following data:

Contact form data — your name and e-mail address, submitted voluntarily via the contact form on this website. This data is transmitted to and stored by Formspree (see Section 5).
Donation data — when you click the donate button, you are redirected to Buy Me a Coffee (an external platform). We do not receive or process your payment details. All payment and personal data entered on Buy Me a Coffee is collected and controlled by Buy Me a Coffee directly (see Section 5).
Server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit, collected automatically by the web server for security and technical purposes.
Language preference — your chosen interface language is saved in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent: name and e-mail address submitted via the contact form, for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest: server log data processed for website security and performance monitoring.
Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — legal obligation: where processing is required by Polish or EU law.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

Contact form submissions — retained for the duration necessary to handle your inquiry and up to 3 years thereafter for legal claim purposes. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Server logs — up to 90 days, then automatically deleted.
Language preference — stored locally in your browser; cleared when you clear your browser data.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be disclosed to:

Formspree, Inc. — our contact form processor. When you submit the contact form, your name and e-mail address are transmitted to and stored on Formspree's servers (USA). Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf. See Formspree's Privacy Policy.
Buy Me a Coffee — our donation platform. When you click the donate button, you are redirected to buymeacoffee.com, operated by Buy Me a Coffee, Inc. (USA). Buy Me a Coffee is an independent data controller — they collect and process your payment and personal data under their own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details. Our hosting provider — solely for the purpose of operating this website.
Competent public authorities — if required by applicable law.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

This website does not set cookies. It uses browser localStorage solely to remember your language preference (English or Ukrainian). This data is stored only on your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR).
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

9. Data Transfers Outside the EEA

When you submit the contact form, your name and e-mail address are transferred to Formspree, Inc., a company based in the United States. This transfer takes place on the basis of Formspree's Data Processing Agreement, which incorporates Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission under Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR.

When you use the donate button, you are redirected to Buy Me a Coffee, Inc., a company based in the United States. Any personal data you provide on their platform is transferred to and processed in the USA under Buy Me a Coffee's own privacy policy and terms. We do not control this transfer.

Other than the above, we do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date of last update shown at the top. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
