We gather in Warsaw to build FPV drones from scratch by teaching electronics, soldering and flight systems. Every drone we assemble is donated to humanitarian operations in Ukraine
How it works
100% of donated funds go directly to purchasing motors, frames, flight controllers, batteries and cameras.
No experience needed. Participants learn electronics fundamentals, safe soldering technique and full drone assembly from mentor engineers.
Completed and tested drones are handed to partner humanitarian organizations for logistics, mine detection and evacuation support missions.
Support the build
Donate a single component or fund an entire drone. Every contribution goes straight to the next workshop build batch
Irons, flux, wire strippers, multimeters.
The workshop essentials shared across every build.
The structural backbone. Lightweight carbon fibre frames that survive hard landings in field conditions.
StructureBrushless motors and propellers — the propulsion system that determines speed, lift and efficiency of every build.
PropulsionFPV cameras and video transmitters. The eyes of the mission — enabling real-time operator awareness from the air.
VisionLiPo battery packs with the energy density and discharge rate needed for stable, long-duration flight operations.
PowerThe brain — a circuit board running Betaflight, processing sensor data and stabilization at thousands of loops per second.
IntelligenceOur purpose
In Ukraine, drones now do a lot of everyday work: they deliver medical supplies, give crews eyes on the ground, and help clear mines from huge stretches of damaged land.
Warsaw is a few hours' drive from the border. What we build here reaches Ukraine fast. Many of the people who come to our workshops have family or friends in Ukraine, so nobody needs the reasons explained.
At DroneAid Warsaw, people learn to solder, assemble a frame and set up a flight controller. Some come in having never held a soldering iron. They leave knowing how to build something that will actually fly. The skills stay and the drones we finish together go where they're needed.
Workshop schedule
Get involved
No prior experience required. Attend a workshop, learn how to solder, understand the technical structure and leave having assembled a real FPV drone. Register via the link below.
Electronics, soldering or you believe your other experience could help the project? Join the mentor team — guide participants, perform final quality checks on completed builds and help develop the project.
Fund one component, tools or an entire drone. Full drone donors receive priority workshop access. Each cent goes directly to hardware — zero overhead.
Fund the mission
Funding a whole drone is one workshop spot, one chance to use your hands to secure your future. After assembly, our team takes care of all the logistics needed to deliver the drone to the frontline.
Your contribution goes 100% to hardware. No admin fees, no overhead.
